Lightweight aluminum oil separator / purifier for Dirt Bike

This aluminum oil separator is designed to improve the balance and performance of dirt bike engines. Thanks to its lightweight and universal design, it is compatible with the majority of engines used on dirt bikes.

Engine balance and performance

The oil separator, also called oil purifier, is a mechanical part often overlooked but essential for the proper functioning of the engine.

As its name indicates, it is used to filter and separate impurities present in the engine oil to ensure better lubrication and longer engine life.

The separator is attached to the end of the crankshaft.

If you use an internal rotor ignition it is recommended to install thislightened aluminum separator . The two elements work together to maintain.

to optimize the overall engine performance

Installation and replacement

Replacing the oil separator is relatively simple but requires a few steps.

First, perform an engine oil change.
Remove the clutch cover by unscrewing the fixing screws (generally about 8 screws depending on the models).
Once the screws are removed, remove the cover. If it is glued, tap lightly with a mallet.
Unscrew the four screws of the cover, then remove the cover and the gasket.
Using a splined socket, unscrew the central nut.
Remove the nut and the washer (be careful, the washer has a mounting direction).
Remove the oil separator.
